My Greatest Travel Achievement as Filipino Solo Backpacker

Traveling Alone on Budget DIY Itinerary as Philippine passport holder only (2010-2024)

"Live a life to inspire, live a life with a sense of accomplishment, live a life you will remember" - Mang Andoy

Despite the weakness of the Philippine passport (having only less than 70 countries that provide free visa/visa on arrival privilege) and challenging visa application, immigration, profiling and interrogation all throughout the journey (especially in NAIA Terminals), I managed to accomplish the following successfully and beyond what I anticipated. #livealifeyouwillremember

01. 2013 - First Europe get-away (23 Days Solo Autumn Experience in Central Europe, 9 countries visited) then to the Promised Land of Israel (including Bethlehem of Palestine) coming from the Arab country in the Middle East.

04. 2015 - Second Europe get-away (23 Days Solo Summer Adventures in Central, Southern and Northern Europe, 14 countries visited) where I completely visited all the 8 countries of Central Europe.

05. 2015 - Entered and exited Winter Iran via Persian Gulf Ferry cruise as my last trip from working in Kuwait

Completed the Seven Natural Wonders of the World

Filipino Solo Backpacker adventure on quest to complete this Earth's Seven Natural Wonders
December 2015 to February 2024

I made this post in honor of the breath-taking natural wonders of modern time seen on seven continents and in reference to CNN's Seven Natural Wonders. Seven Natural Wonders is an organization that was created with the mission of protecting and promoting the natural wonders of the world. The project was launched in 2008 in response to the New 7 Wonders efforts to change the natural wonders of the world. Seven Natural Wonders launched an effort to expand the 7 Natural Wonders of the World by creating campaigns to add the Seven natural Wonders for each continent. These campaigns differed from the efforts of New 7 Wonders because every wonder of nature was eligible with no requirements for entry fees, sponsorship fees of any kind and to protect the original vision and declaration of the seven natural wonders of the world. This campaign was distinguished by avoiding the influence of marketing and social media, and being determined by experts from around the world who leveraged statistical and traditional significance, uniqueness, and pure splendor.

Completed the Seven New Wonders of the World

Filipino Solo Backpacker adventure on quest to complete this Earth's Seven New Wonders
May 2012 to March 2021

I made this post in honor of the breath-taking man-made wonders of modern time built on four continents and in reference to https://world.new7wonders.com/wonders/. New7Wonders of the World was a campaign started in 2000 to choose Wonders of the World from a selection of 200 existing monuments. The popularity poll via free Web-based voting organized by the New7Wonders Foundation based in Zurich, with winners announced on July 2007 in Lisbon.

One of the best bucket list achievement I had in times of 2021 pandemic traveling in Latin America. I want to be the very best just like fewer ones ever were. To visit them is my real test, to experience them is my joy.

7. Machu Picchu (1450AD) - I visited last March 2021.

#lakbay100 Quest Completed (2010-June to 2019-July)

Geologically, the continents largely correspond to areas of continental crust that are found on the continental plates. A continent is defined as a large unbroken land mass completely surrounded by water. The seven continents are North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica. The island groups in the Pacific are often called Oceania, scientists consider them the remains of a continent.
