Bohol Province; Countryside Tour of Interest

my most expensive domestic tourism

objective: to visit the best tourist spots that fits my taste and budget accordingly.
additional tasks: to experience bohol tourism at its best

DAY 1 SATURDAY:
COUNTRYSIDE TOUR


as agreed with the driver/guide of the car we rented, we awoke 0700H to compressed the 10 spots featured in countryside tour. these spots were in particular order starting from alona beach, panglao island. you can kindly ask your tour guide to exactly follow this sequence PROVIDED that the pick-up time from alona beach would be 0700H sharp. we finished this tour around 5pm.

(1) Hinagdanan cave – located in panglao island, with entrance fee of php15. this cave is underneath the ground floor and you can spent sight-seeing around 20 minutes completely, no guides needed but locals will assist you there for some pictorials. Also, souvenir shirts are sold here at a very cheaper price.

(2) Bee-farm – located in panglao island, free entrance, try to taste their breads made of organic substance.
(3) Blood-compact shrine – located in tagbilaran city, free entrance. near tagbilaran shore, an ordinary historical site.
(4) Baclayon church and museum – located in baclayon town, one of the most oldest catholic church in the Philippines, museum has an entrance fee of php25.
(5) Biggest python – with entrance fee of php10, you can have your pictorial with the largest python in the Philippines that looks like an anaconda. there are also birds and monkeys.
(6) Tarsier – one of the world’s smallest primate, no entrance fee.
(7) Loboc river – there are 2 floating resto’s offered buffet style. One is on the frontside of the river that costs php350 and leaves every hour while having a lunch with reggae band. At the end of the river, you will reach the ATI TRIBE (free entrance). This is park specially for the indigenous people of bohol. You will see attractions like big crab, performances from the tribe and a lot more. The other floating resto is located beside the river and near in loboc municipal hall that costs php400. This will not bring you to Ati Tribe, just cruising the river.

(8) Chocolate hills – the viewing deck is located in municipality of Carmen with entrance fee of php50. Over a thousand hills that has chocolate color in summer time. This park also offers ATV as a side trip, worth php400.
(9) Man-made forest – the 2 kilometer stretched of man-made forest of mahogany trees. Just like an ordinary provincial road in japan.
(10) Butterfly sanctuary – with entrance fee of php30, a guide will tour you to small area yet very informative tales between the butterflies and the moths.
(11) Hanging bridge – made-up of bamboo woods that used to be a short cut way whenever the river reaches a high tide. Entrance fee of php10 is needed.

we went back to alona beach to spent the night there. since dinner is expensive, we just bought roasted chicken outside then ate in our lodging. for tomorrow's itinerary, we will be in one of the most famous outdoor adventure in bohol, located at over 2 hours distance from tagbilaran city, in the municipality of danao.
